The book was supposed to be "like new" but instead it was falling apart. I contacted the seller and they refunded part of the cost for which I was thankful.

This is a beautiful coffee table book for the armchair traveler. As with anything National Geographic, the photos are spectacular. The price was right for yourself or giving several as gifts.

Great Book...makes me want to travel and just keep checking off the pages when I get home!

This book is great. It gives details for over 200 countries and the pictures are nice.

the book came to me in the condition i expected and more! i had gotten a little message from the seller that said, "thanks for your purchase, and i hope you enjoy this book as much as i did!" i was very touched and i love the book so much!

I borrowed this book from the local library and found it to be one of the most unwieldly books in existence! It weighs a freakin' ton and needs to be put on a table (instead of your lap) to look at. Totally impractical. Additionally, the photos for the most part aren't all that great. Information is minimal. What irritates me most is each country's skeletal map which doesn't show it's relationship to the rest of the world. Oh sure, you can go back to map of the world at the front of the book and read thru all the tiny names to find the country you are looking at, but you'll probably fracture your arm in the process. Individual maps could at least have shown the country within it's continent or region. A much better book for travelers is National Geographic's Journeys of a Lifetime 500 of the World's Greatest Trips. It may not include every country in the world, but it's much more informative, original and the photos are gorgeous!

I thought this was a great price for such a versatile bag! I'm hoping both my brother-in-laws find this gift useful!

I really wanted to like this little canvas bag but it has too many shortcomings. The pockets in the portfolio are too deep for regular credit cards - they slide way down and it is very difficult to remove them. I just leave the cards I use most often standing up so I can reach them, which isn't really secure. The velcro that holds this portfolio part shut is very loose - it opens all the time from the weight of my normal cell phone. The clasp that holds the top of the bag shut was so hard to open and close that I just cut it off. Since I can't close the top, my cell phone tends to slide out of the bag. I was living with all of these minor issues, but now the lining of the pockets has started to fray - and it's a pocket that I almost never use. It's one thing that I'm not happy with some design issues but the fact that I've had it for less than six months and it is wearing out lead me to rate it one star. It's a great size, has a nice strap and with a few changes could be a wonderful little bag. Without those changes, I advise you to keep looking.

This bag is great! It is sleek and compact. The pocket makes it great for small items while the flap is good for your cash and cards. There is a buckle that holds the top lap down so you will not lose anything inside as well. The strap can be removed and there is a belt loop so it can be worn as a belt bag as well. I liked the bag, but found it did not meet my needs. The portfolio style looked nice in the pix, but once i started putting somethings in that area it quickly became bulky. Lots of compartments, but most of them are too small to be able to use them all. The credit card pockets are too deep so the top of the cards are not visible. The main compartment was nice, but would be better if it were 1-2 inches wider, my wallet and iPod did not fit side-by-side. The flap and strap to close the bag were a little clumsy, but not too bad. The black canvas was nice, and heavy duty. If you don't have a lot of items to carry around, I recommend it. In my case, I've already ordered a slightly bigger which I am happy with.

The quality of this product is extremely poor - then again, what is expected when its value is so cheap. We took it on our vacation to Germany and it lasted one week. The outside material seems durable enough (canvas) but the lining is of a very cheap plastic. Within a week the lining, which is either stitched or glued, had come undone and we stood to lose our passports (yikes!); good thing I noticed. I would not recommend this product. Also, it is not too practical to constantly undo the front buckle to get at what you want. Hope this review helps.

Man, this thing would be great if the pockets were just a few millimeters larger. The credit card and ID pockets are just a very tiny bit too small. Love the quality of construction and material, but can't really recommend it due to the size. Size does matter sometimes.

I got the belt for a trip to Indonesia. I'd never been and heard lots of horror stories about petty crime there. But I stayed with family and they never took me to traditional markets or on public transportation, so I was quite safe the whole time. It was more convenient for me to carry my wallet in my front jeans pocket. But I wore the belt while traveling and I can say it was very comfortable. After an hour I almost couldn't tell I had it on under my pants beltline. There is a flexible, plastic sheet that protects your valuables from body sweat and also helps hold the pouch shape and keep it from wrinkling. The material is very lightweight and thin but sewn together well. The 1 large and 2 small pouches are great for seperating cards and currency, or however you want to organize things. The only disadvantage is that I'd have to unbutton and partially unzip my pants to access the contents. So I'd have to enter a public restroom stall to pull out what I needed. But if you go to an area where thieves could hold you up and pat you down, you'll be thankful it's so hard to access and detect.

The money blet seems fine. I plan to use it when I go to Italy, so I will test it out then. The delivery was quite timely and the product was just as I ordered. No surprises.

This belt was a wonderful asset on our Hawaii Trip. Only one problem: The plastic shield, inside the money pocket, crumpled-up the first time we used the money belt. We were unable to flatten it, so threw it away. The Shield was there to keep our money dry, but it was easier to do without it than deal with the crumpled plastic.

I have owned and used 2 of these in Ukraine and Peru (I like the black, under a black T-shirt). I like it very much, It keeps money etc safe and dry, and very hidden. I wear it under and undershirt (T-shirt). Functionality is excellent. I use it as a third wallet: one dummy wallet with a few small bills in a back pocket; a small front pocket wallet for daily activity and this as a hidden redoubt for large bills, passport card, and my passport when I do not need to have it in hand. My only concern is the money belt can be detected in airports, i.e., in the San Jose, Costa Rica airport, during a hand and wand search when changing planes. At first I thought the zipper may have been metal, I am not sure. But, this was possibly due to my passport card and protective sleeve being inside at the time. Not a perfect item, but very close.

I took this with when i went to Peru a few weeks ago, and this product served its purpose beautifully. I stuffed my passport, credit card and all my extra cash in here and stuck it under my shirt or jacket for the entire trip. Very useful for those who are traveling internationally and going to be backpacking or on foot a lot. Great buy.

I believe Rick Steves's neck wallet is the perfect accessory for holding your passport and other important articles while traveling. I used it to hold my passport, my Berlin tourist transit pass, and a credit card and some Euros on my latest trip to Germany. I had an older version made of leather, but the cord on it was about to go, so I invested in Rick Steves's product. I wasn't disappointed. I didn't particularly like the plastic perspiration shield, but it was very warm in Berlin this last August, so I needed it to protect my documents. If it had been cooler I would use it without the plastic shield. Overall this is a great product. I still kept a wallet in my pocket, in the unlikely case that we were robbed. I kept an old wallet with a few expired credit cards and 5 or 10 Euros in it to give up in case a thief confronted us. But everything important was hidden in my wallet under my shirt. I recommend this for all travelers!

bought for our trip to ireland the neck wallet was worn under my shirt and around my neck. it easily held our passports, euro's and flight info. the thin strap was the only downside. it started to annoy me after a few days. overall, not bad.

I just got back from a 1 month trip to Europe with the Rick Steves neck wallet. I should have taken my old one - heavier, but much more functional. Here are the deficiencies I see in the Rick Steves product: - The two front pockets are too small. Credit cards are a tight squeeze, making them hard to get in and out. Neither of the pockets are large enough for money unless you fold the bills in thirds. The pockets do not have separate zippers. -The main zippered compartment contains a clear plastic pouch designed to protect the contents from perspiration, since the silk sucks up moisture like a sponge. Unfortunately, this plastic pouch sticks to itself and gets bent and crumpled, making it hard to get things in and out. -The above main compartment is too narrow to hold a passport (at least a U.S. passport) sideways. You must put it in vertically, which precludes folding the wallet in half and using it as a much more convenient pocket wallet in places where it is safe to do so. -The strap does not detach, also preventing its use as a pocket wallet as above, or as an around-the-waist under the pants money belt. - The un-zippered back compartment is nearly useless. It is between you and the plastic pouch, and anything put in here will get soaked with perspiration. About its only plus is that it is light weight, but I'd gladly trade a few ounces for more functionality. Look for one that is moisture proof, has secure pockets that actually fit credit cards, a passport and the larger European bills, and can be used as a regular wallet.

I've used various neck wallets on my trips and they are useless. Every thief knows about these and the neck strap gives it away! I found out the hard way in my recent backpacking trip through Central America that everything gets wet from sweat and humidity with these. My passport got soaked and if it wasn't for an understanding customs agent, I would have been detained until I got a new one issued. The other thing is that you have to wear a dress shirt or it will show through your t-shirt. The strap is also dangerous because if someone comes up behind you and gets a hold of the strap, they then have a way to choke you. In my trip to Europe, it was hard to tell that I had one because it was cold/rainy and had to wear a jacket but in Central America where it was hot and had to wear a t-shirt people just commented, "He has something in his shirt!" I would not recommend this for a traveler but only if you need it to carry something on the outside of your shirt or when you can wear a jacket to hide the strap. I put mine aside and purchased one that straps under my pants and onto my leg. I generally wear loose fitting pants and it's hard to tell.

I ordered the Rick Steves Silk Neck Wallet and the Rick Steves Silk Money Belt. Both were light-weight,well made and were the perfect size to hold passports, credit cards and tickets. I found that I prefered the money belt. It was very comfortable. There were many times I forgot I was wearing it.

I have shelves full of travel books because I love to travel. And while I no longer worry about traveling by the seat of my pants (deciding what to see after I get there), I still want to know where I am going to stay before all else. And I am never (well, hardly ever) looking for the glamor of the rooms. I want it centrally located and I want to know what I am getting. Frommer's is the best travel guide out there in describing a room. If you are looking for another Holiday Inn or Merriott you don't need a travel guide to point things out. If you want a room that looks like it actually belongs in the country you are visiting, then Frommers is the guide for you. This was true in my college years, ever so many years ago, and it remains true today. They also have very adequate one, two, and three day plans of things to see. I am writing under the Athens book simply because that is where I am going on my next trip. I would recommend almost any of them.

Lots of things to do in Athens so how do you figure it out? This book will help. It gives you all the major sites and things to do and it gives you all kinds of great ways to set up your sightseeing either in daily treks or in multi day treks. Highly recommmended. I really used this book. I used the various recommendations to plan out my own itinerary.

This book was all I used for three days in Athens and it was great. I hit two restaurants, one doughnut place and a coffee shop that the book recommended, and all were dead-on. The restaurants were notably better than those I found on my own. Advice on museums and sites was solid. Most importantly, the book marks locations on maps by section, so even if you can't find or read street signs, you can find what you're looking for. I used a different brand for Rome and had a much harder time getting around (indeed, I didn't find several of the restaurants that book recommended because it didn't label the streets on its map, much less show precise locations). I'd use the day-by-day series for any new city.

This book is pretty good for describing different areas in Athens. Has some good maps too. You will definetely need another good book though.

This book was pretty good. It was a true story about someone finding out what they wany from life. It was about Shelly, who is invited to Grece after she turns down an invitaion from her controlling bf. She is having the time of her life w/o him until he showes up unannounced. The story had a nice plot yet I felt myself wanting to know more about Sarah and how she changes from being shy and timid to being outgoing and fun. It was a repition of the same thing: parties, parties, parties. Sarah seemed more deep and interesting yet u don't hear much about her. But, I still enjoyed the love triangle between Shelly, Nick, and Mike. I didn't really like Jade all that much. I thought she gaped in the limelight too much. She had to be the star or she had no fun. It was an attention grabber and well worth the read just not a perfect novel.

This book is boring!!!!!!!! The plot is bad and it isn't interesting. All it is about is these three girls who go to greece and basically do stuff and this author gives too many boring details!! it isn't engrossing!! I just read it because it was the only book my friend would let me borrow becuse it was so bad when I spent the night at her house. I would recomend it to girls from britain because the story takes place in europe and the girls are from england and they say british words and it is hard for me to understand it since I'm from Arizona! I am soo happy to be done with that book. It was so annoying and boring to read!! If you think this book is good than you have never read a good book. Try the A-list series

Reading this book, parts of it reminded me of my friends and me just hanging out. As i went on i could definatly relate to somethings, I liked how she decided to vacation with her friends rather then her mean boyfriend. The descriptions in the book made you see everything going on. This Book wasnt as good as i thought it would be, but it is better then a lot of other books i have read. I recommend this to people who would like to read teen Drama, partying, adn other stuff.

This is what my parents would call a "junkie teen book". It has no substance to it, and the whole theme of the book is sex. There is no substance, and no climax. All that happens is she goes to Greece with her friends instead of a trip with her jerk of a boyfriend, then they break up, then he comes to Greece and they get back together again. How can people think that is interesting? The only reason I gave this book 2 stars is because I thought the description of the house and the country sounded like it would be a neat place to go. I totally wasted my money buying this book, and I'm sure the Spanish Holiday book is just as bad.

Many people say that this book is a "beach read", and that somehow makes it bad. Well, I disagree with that. This story is about a girl Kelly. Kelly turns down going to a camping/hiking trip with her bossy boyfriend Mike. Mike gets really mad at her, and even more so when she goes on vacation with her sort of friend Jade and Jade's friend Sarah to Greece. In Greece, they just have different things happen, if I explain it'll ruin the story. The language in this book is easy to understand and it hardly ever has any "British-isms". At the beginning, the story sort of drags, but later on, it gets better and you can't stop reading. Jade is sort of an antagonist at times, and so is Mike, but they have Good Moments too. The end was also sort of not how I wanted it, but I still liked Kelly's "speech". I would recommend this book to anyone who would want to read something that isn't unbelievably depressing.

You will love Vivien Leigh, not be crazy about Warren Beatty (but he is beautiful) and love the photography in this movie. Tennessee Williams is my favorite author so I love everything that he does and this was no exception. There is another version with Helen Mirren that is good too but Vivien will always have that aura about her that we all so loved. Try this one for a 'moody' afternoon to see what great acting was all about.

The movie was entertaining, and shocking to see a young Warren Beatty. The ending is short, but if you paid attention to the film it fits perfectly

Those two stars are only for Vivien. If it wasn't for her, I would not give this film any stars at all. I think this story had the potential to be an amazing movie - but the ambition stopped after Vivien Leigh. She was dynamic, as she always is. It is so unfortunate that all of the others (yes, I mean Lotte Lenya too - even if she was nominated for an Oscar for the role) were cast in this film. Jill St. John, Lenya, and especially Warren Beatty disappointed and ruined the whole movie. From all of the fire, insanity, "drifting" and pain of 'A Streetcar Named Desire' - it all came to this dead rag of a movie. Perhaps that is what happen when a stage director takes his beautiful supporting cast from Broadway to the screen (as in Streetcar) as opposed to casting Shirley McLaine's kid brother and Kurt Weill's muse comedic songstress. I wish someone would've told Beatty back then to stick to American gangster roles and American hairdresser roles - no more accents, please. I hope they did a better job of casting in the remake with Helen Mirren. It was bad enough to do that to Vivien Leigh in her second-to-last film. I would suggest reading the book on this one. Or just watch it for Vivien. She's marvelous.

Get it too see Vivien Leigh in her fragile second to last film roll (it was "art imitating life"). She was fascinating in everything she did. Warren Beatty's "preformance" is excruiatingly "high school play" - way out of his league with Leigh, Lotte Lenya (an over the top, scenery-chewing interpretation), and Coral Browne. Beatty's accent is "Eye-Talian" rather than Italian, his continental "flair", that of a soda-jerk (it's right up there in miscasting idiocy with John Wayne's, Genghis Kahn (THE CONQUEROR) but embarrassing instead of hilarious {Wayne}. I have a sentimental soft-spot for this film, but in reality it really isn't a success the SHOWTIME adaptation ( with the great Helen Mirren) is very close to the original short story. In 1961 the moronic censors would not allow a Williams adaptation to be filmed without major alterations (A Streetcar Named Desire - Sweet Bird of Youth - Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, were all but ruined had it not been for some very clever screenwriters). The DVD transfer is good - with the Trailer and a short infomative documentary about it's making. If you can afford both versions, by all means get both, otherwise SHOWTIME made the definitive "ROMAN SPRING".

This movie doesn't wear the years very well, but if you have the patience to get through the plodding pace, wooden acting and totally bizarre script, there is still something to think about. I'd definitely recommend listening to the interviews that come with the DVD, as they help you make more sense of the movie. Probably one of the most interesting aspects of the film for me was how it showed Warren Beatty rather true to life.

Take a step back in time. My grown children still love this Christmas story and have passed that love to their children. It's a must have for the holidays.

I bought this movie for my kids (and me), every generation should see this movie. It brought back wonderful memories, I must have seen this a hundred times when I was a kid. Please buy this for your children, you won't regret it.

Not too many people know of this show unless you were a child growing up in the 70's in Southern California. KTLA (channel 5)aired this all the time during Christmas Time. I love introducing this rare gem to anyone that does not know about it. This is a great family movie for Christmas! It's a wholesome, clean and an innocent story reminding me of a less chaotic world we used to live in. Please enjoy!

I bought this to replace the old VHS Tape we have... which is of horrible quality... but this DVD was just as bad!! It's like someone copied our awful VHS Tape to DVD!!! It seems like someone created it in the basement or something!!! I couldn't help but think I was watching a pirated copy?!?! It has poor sound quality, is "choppy" in places with picture and sound, and is blurry and the color is muted! No remastering or sharpening of picture/sound quality! Just bad quality all the way around!! So disapointing!!

I bought this DVD for my mother as an anniversary present just before Thanksgiving last year. She hasn't stopped watching it since! I'm twenty six yrs old myself and haven't seen it since I was a little girl!!! At its core, the video is an excellent reminder of childhood memories coupled with the underlying, but nonetheless prominent message of the season's real meaning!!! Definitely worth the money!!!

Received the suit today on time but it is not a three button suit as advertised but a two button suit. I am also not that satisfied with the quality of the material. It feels more like a polyester blend than merino wool. Returning suit.

I purchased this suit online for one purpose. I plan to wear it on formal nights for an upcoming cruise. So, I benefit by it also serving as fit to wear anywhere! This is an extremely good hundred dollar suit. Great value for the money!

Quality is way beyond the price. As mentioned by others, the cut of the jacket is tight across the back but does not hinder dancing or other activity. Make sure you have an experienced tailor hem the pants and make alterations if needed, my 42 regular had to have the arms shortened. I would definately buy another suit from this supplier.

I do not know much about suits, but can tell fit, finish, and quality are high. I will be purchasing 2 more in differnt styles and colors, but I am satisfied with this suit. It is a great price.

I only wish I'd discovered this series of books sooner! These books are great supplements to teaching history to your kids. The Magic Tree House website even offers a few free activity pages to go with many of the books and in addition to the history study guide, we use the companion story books to really get "personal" with history.

I ordered this book for my 9 year old son. He absolutely loves it. Since he has started reading Magic Tree House books his reading has drastically improved. I believe this book and the Magic Tree House books are a must have for this age group. These books help them learn history facts in a fun way.

There was a lot involved... so much infact that my 8 year old son wasn't very attracted to it. However in the next few years perhaps he'll take another look thought it or use it for a project he does at school. I wouldn't recommend buying this book for 'fun' but rather for direct use with a project you might be working on.

I lived in Italy from August 2003 to August 2004 and before leaving I bought this guidebook. I would have been better off with no guidebook at all. The information in Rough Guide Italy (e.g., prices for hostels, opening/closing times for attractions, etc.) was consistently wrong to the point that I questioned whether anyone had attempted to verify what was printed in the last ten years. Rough Guide, in an attempt to differentiate itself from Lets Go and Lonely Planet, spends a lot of time on "off the beaten track" areas. This is generally good but it seems that in some cases cities do no merit the praise heaped upon them (i.e., Rough Guide does this solely in order to offer something different). Anyway, the point is that I had the opportunity to use Rough Guide countless times over the year. The historical information is not bad but its practical value is seriously lacking. Rough Guide, if you're listening it would be in your best interest to update your stuff!

What I like best about the Rough Guides is that they give critical reviews. They will point out the tourist traps and will give negative reviews. I find that Frommer's and Fodor's rarely point out the negatives to a particular hotel or site. The rough guide is very critical and is a great balance to these other guides. I would balance your trip to Italy with a Fodors (or Frommers) book because the maps and illustrations are often better and there are more higher-end hotels listed.This book will help you decide where is best to spend your vacation in Italy. There are clear critical descriptions of all the regions and great general info on getting around in Italy.If you aren't interested in "roughing" it and staying in lower priced hotels. The guides are still very useful in rating attractions, and areas in which to stay... but you will need another book to look at more moderate and luxury hotels.I would definitely read this book before going to Italy.

I just came back from a 2 week trip to Italy, my first time going there. I have used guides such as LonelyPlanet and Let's Go before, but I selected RoughGuide for this trip because I have heard a lot of good things about the series and as it was one of the most recently published guides for Italy, I was hoping it will have the most updated information.First of all, the good things about the guide:1. It does contain a lot of practical information about big and small cities in Italy, and it was immensely useful during my trip.2. A lot of historical and insightful details for museums and art galleries that went beyond the basics, that I found very usefulHowever, the good is not enough to overcome the shortcomings of the guide, and that is why I think there must be a better guide for Italy than this and I encourage travelers to seek them out. Some of the things in the guide that really bothered me included:1. Listing recommended bars and cafes without marking them on the provided map. Without a street index for any map, I was unable to find the places they recommended unless I spend 20 minutes looking at every single street name on the page. As streets in places like Rome, Florence and Venice are very small, this was a very difficult task. I sometimes came to the conclusion that the street for the bar listing was not even in the map provided. Contact information for bars and cafes were not provided, so it was not even possible to call them to ask for directions.2. No layout plan/map for large museums and galleries. When I came to places like the Vatican, the Roman Forums and the Uffizi, I found it difficult to locate important "sights" with only word directions (i.e. on the right of the second altar...... or on the left side of that first pile of rubble.....) This is especially a problem when I sometimes found myself coming in from a different entrance than the one the writers used. It would have been a lot simpler if they included a map of the museum itself. This was especially difficult in the Uffizi in Florence. They would describe a painting as being in room 6, but room numbers are not displayed for every room in the Uffizi. The rooms are also not clearly shaped and defined, and I did not even realize I had crossed four rooms until I looked at my friend's guide to see I was no longer in room 3, but in room 7. 3. Not really a guide for roughing it. For Siena, the category of inexpensive dining means a meal for less than Euro 20. This is actually quite expensive for a backpacker on a budget.4. Not very thorough directions. In Siena, information is given for how to get to the train station from the city centre, but no information is given for getting back to the train station (the bus drop off and pick off points are in different parts of the city). To get from Naples to Pompeii, they list taking the train to Torre Annuziata and then switching to another line, but you save yourself a lot of trouble if you just take train to Sorrento.5. Lack of low budget accommodation listings. There are a lot of listings for hotels, but there is hardly enough listings of hostels. Even when there are listings, the comments they offer are not very helpful to help me decide whether it is a hostel that is worth using. All in all, this guide did help me a lot. At the same time, I am quite certain I would have been able to find the same help in another guide to Italy, that would have offered better directions and descriptions of famous sights. Perhaps this is a good guide if you are already quite familiar with Italy, because it does offer information for smaller towns and out of the way places. However, for a first time backpacker to the country who was interested in seeing the big and medium-sized sights, I found it lacking a lot of information that would have been helpful.

I'd like to offer another review from just the one out here - although I have not used Rough Guide to Italy, I just got back from Switzerland where I couldn't have survived with out my Rough Guide! It was comprehensive (the smallest of towns we went through had information in the guide), provided detailed city maps (which we could do our own tours), and offered good info on hotels and meals. Granted we are not student backpackers and looked for a guide that was fit to our needs - that is what Rough Guide to Switzerland did for us and will be doing for us through Italy!

What's rough about this guide book? Oh, the information! I don't know who this book is written for, because as a regular backpacker, I find it completely useless. Two major problems are the lack of sufficient information about hostels (there's plenty of hotels listed, though), and there's no information considering the costs of travelling around Italy.Unless you are travelling with a suitcase full of money, don't buy this one.Oh: I tried to rate this book as "-", but it wasn't possible. One star given is too much.

WOW! I used to have to put self tanners on 2 days in a row to get a dark color. 1 application of this and I was shocked to see that I had a DARK tan. A GOOD dark tan that looked real on my Irish skin. And it lasted about a week before fading away. I did not even get the crackle / lizard breakup I typically get from tanning lotions. I try every new self tanner on my quest for a truly brown tan -- this is a Great product.

This is by far the most superior exfoliating scrub I've ever used on my body. It's quite effective at keeping the bumps on the back of my arms at bay, prepping my entire body for sunless tanning, and keeping my feet as smooth as a baby's behind...all without drying my sensitive skin! I use a liquid soap (Dove Nutrium) when I shower so I mix the two together to form the perfect body cleanser. It has no oil in it so it doesn't clog the pores and the scent is irresistible (wish I it was a perfume). One thing to note: the little scrubbies clog up the lid, so you end up taking it off each time you use it to get it out of the tube. Otherwise, it's the best

This is one of the best body scrubs I have purchased. it definitely made my skin very smooth and silky. It is not meant as a body wash so I did not expect it to be soapy. If you are looking for something like that, yes, try another product. If you are looking for something that definitely smooths the skin and makes your face feel baby soft, I highly recommend this product. I do quite a number of things that are not skin-friendly: outside a lot, in the creek, gardening. This product has done wonders (with each use) of smoothing my skin again. Much better than other products that contain more cream than "scrub" factors.

Body Scrub is very gritty, and is rough when used on the body, especially the neck and face. It does not have much soap content, so it does not work as well as my exfoliating body wash to remove my sunless tan.

This movie is a very fun movie to watch. I'm 16 and still love this movie. To the comments of them being rude and snotty, I never saw that. With the not wanting to eat the food, that's the whole point!! Their parents sent them there to experience things! They saw French cuisine, and remember: they're 12 almost 13! They won't be expected to be open-minded when it comes to new food. They portrayed 2 teen girls who wanted to have fun and a great experience in France! This movie is an excellent buy and I'd recommend this movie to anyone, young or old.

I know, you don't have to say it. My G*d it's the Olsen twins, what are you thinking? You're right, Mary-Kate and Ashley are, as always all-knowing, overly cutsie, predictable, trite and juvenile. Every one of their movies is basically the same story set in a different location. Again, all true. However in this one particular film for some reason the formula works. Join the Olsen twins as they take Paris by storm when they visit their Ambasador Grandfather in the "City of Lights". Aided by a superior supporting cast for a film of this genre you'll be surprised how enjoyable this movie is. My daughter fell in love with this movie years ago and now eighteen, she still watches it. Putting all rational, intellectual criticism aside, this is plain and simple a fun, carefree movie that can be enjoyed by young and old alike! Wonderful supporting performances by Matt Winston and the lovely Yvonne Scia.

This movie kind of gave me mixed feelings. There were many good things and many bad things about the movie, and I will list a few of them: THE BAD! -Their parents decide that their daughters get a foreign vacation many people dream of because the daughters have no lives. (WTF?) -Melanie and Allyson(MK & A) acted like snots in this movie by always being obsessed with popularity, their looks, and boys, and also getting away with spit-takes and sneaking out. THE GOOD! -The music was very illustrative to the scenes it was in and added lots of emotion to certain parts. -In most of the movie, MK and A were very cute and fun. I loved the ending at the dance when the MK & A kiss the French boys at the dance, especially with the song they played, because I think that added a lot of feeling to the scene. Okay, so those are my reasons. 3 stars. Ain't too bad, since some of their other movies were better.

This is a great movie! Both Olsen and non-Olsen fans will like this movie.I Recomend for ages 9-14.

Mary-Kate and Ashley are snots in this movie! I liked them better as kids, because they were cute and too young for "making out with boys." These dumb bimbos MK & A played were stupid snots who were obsessed with cute boys and kissing. (Where have I seen that before???) If the twins are planning on making a new movie soon, I really hope they don't have to have any dumb love scenes, because that's all marykate and Ashley ever do in their preteen movies!

I, like most of the people commenting here, grew up watching Rugrats since it first came out on TV and I personally still like to watch it to this day as a closet hobbie of mine. That said, my feelings for this movie when I first watched it were good and bad, but overall positive. To start with the turnoffs, I was surprised a G rated movie had things such as Tommy's diaper falling off and mooning everyone while dancing on top of the record player at his Grandpa's wedding, or Coco's wedding dress being ripped apart and exposing her underwear. I didn't think stuff like that needed to be in there and thought the movie was a little bit grosser than the potty humor found in the regular TV episodes. I also thought it was a bit of a stretch for the babies to be capable of operating the giant Reptar robot. Though I still was entertained by all the havoc it created by rampaging through town, I just couldn't see how a bunch of infants would be smart enough, let alone be big enough to control it. Sure the movie is made for kids, but even my younger siblings thought that was wierd and didn't make sense. Now for the good stuff. I thought Klasky Csupo did a good job of integrating pop culture parodies such as Lady and the Tramp, King Kong, and my favorite of all, The God Father. I couldn't stop laughing when I first saw Angelica appear as "The Bobfather" (and believe me she fits that role perfectly) or when Dil first drooled all over her hand. The pop culture parodies were one of the things that made the show great in the first place, and in my opinion the writers did a good job of inserting more of it into this movie. Coco Lebouche also made a pretty good villian. When you love to hate the bad guy in a movie you know they're good and I just loved her coniving manipulative personality. It's always fun to see those kind of villians get what they deserve at the end and she definately got hers (In fact I wish they had kept the alternate ending [one of the bonus features] in which she was stuck working at a deoderant factory and being grossed out by that low life job she was forced to work). Most importantly of all, this movie has a wonderful family values aspect to it. Chuckie is my favorite character, and I've always felt sorry for him in being the only baby in the group to not have a Mom. So to see him finally get a really good one in Kira Watanabe, as well as a new sister in Kimi was very touching to me. It's this kind of stuff that I wish more cartoons had these days.

First of all, let me say that I really enjoyed the first film and lets just say that I havent laughed that hard since the time that I saw that "Help, Ive fallen and I cant get up!" commercial, but the second film really is not appropriate for children. There are numerous sexual references and unneeded foul language all commited by children for children. It is obvious that the actor protraying Tommy(the main character) is not a child anymore (when was the last time you hear a baby speaking perfect english, I mean HELLLOO???) and should pass to role on. I am very disappointed with the producers and actors for taking place in this kind of film. Thumbs down big time!

Of course, I think this movie is super! The reason I rated it 5 stars is because of the plot. Actually, there were a few plots, like the wedding, giant robots, broken hearts, and lying. That is everything I love. Well, okay, maybe the fact that it's not scary is distressing, because I love horror. But, all in all, it was a great film. I watch it a lot with my mom. The villain, Cocoa, was super. Her plan was to become the president of the whole theme park and, believe me, that was a very important job. The whole reason they had to go to Paris, France was because the gigantic robot, Reptar, had his head blown up, which I think was hilarious. It made a huge mess, and then they had to go all the way to Paris which, believe me, is a long way. But, it really turned into an adventure and here are some things that happened: a crazy woman tried to trick Chuckie's dad into marrying her, and a dog running away, then a wedding, and a gigantic robo-snail which, believe me, is exciting and entertaining. I would have given it about 4 stars, but the plot just had to make one more star. My favorite part was when the whole plot began, but Chuckie knew that he must stop all these weird things from really happening, or his life would be ruined. If you ask me, there was a lot they had to worry about. I mean, they still did fix Reptar, which was important. There are even cool controls that make Reptar move. This was the best Rugrats movie I have seen so far. Believe me, you will want to watch this movie over and over with your family.

THIS SUCKED. All it was about was, chukie wants a new mom because his mom is dead (Hey chukie! Why not bury her in the PET SEMETARY. You'll get the treatment you deserve. DEATH and MURDER.) it had no point! Once again THIS MOVIE (...)!

Kimi is a great charecter. But not as good as Lil. But kimi's still my second favorite charecter. It was great when she became one of the rugrats. Kimi's cute.

This is a tribute to Greece with the most stupid script! Even the actors cannot save this little junket.

This film is a funny and wonderful look at life, tourism and love. Seaside Greece is photographed in all its splendor and no doubt will have you looking at travel brochures the day after watching this delightful film. A fine cast works magic as they interact in a place where inhibitions fall away like water over a cliff. Jacqueline Bisset is terrific as the photographer of the coffee table book, "The Light of Greece," which isn't selling well enough to keep she and her daughter Chloe (Ruby Baker) afloat. A pot she was given as a gift by long time friend Patrick (James Fox) may help cure all her financial troubles, but then again, it may not. The affable Patrick has some secrets that are only revealed when Rick (a young Kenneth Branagh) and his sweet and long-suffering wife Carol (Lesley Manville) come to this little Greek tourist spot. This film is filled with humor and joy and has a really special mood of Greek music and sensual beauty. Irene Papas gives a very funny performance as Penelope. She talks of her dead husband as though he were a hero during the war but he actually fell off a cliff while dancing! Penelope hates tourists and steals nail polish from all the women who come there. Her hilarious hatred of the tourists brings her into conflict with her son Yani (Paris Tselios), who not only wants to make a buck off them, but wants to put up a statue called "The Unknown Tourist!" The statue is sculpted by Katherine's estranged husband who she amiably argues with throughout the film. There are some very funny moments in this film, including a scene when Yani's mother, Penelope, dressed like Pancho Villa, "raids" the unveiling of the statue. Even the serious moments about spies are handled with warmth and humor in this very unique film. This film is easy to watch and makes you want to live life to the fullest. Some of the scenery will take your breath away and Bisset is marvelous as is everyone else. Director Clare Peploe has crafted something to be proud of here. This is a little known film I ran across by accident a few years ago, and what a happy accident it was. The shots of Bisset and Branagh on a beautiful midnight swim are gorgeous, as is Bisset. The perfect film for a weekend when you are wishing you could just get away from it all.

If you have been to the Greek islands, see this movie to remember. If you have never visited Greece, see this movie and pack your bags. Freedom and richness of life, gentle olive-scented breezes, long sunrises and slow sunsets prolong twilight, easy flowing clothes of deep rich colors for both sexes -- don't look for polyester or packaged bread.
