La Crosse Technology WS-7014CH-IT Wireless Weather Station La Crosse Technology WS-7014CH-IT Wireless Weather Station

Lacrosse tec has a great product this is second one for me easy to set works in seconds ....

New alkaline batteries, main unit operated and read from remote sensor for about 5 days, then noticed the display was 'garbled', not all segments of the led images would lite up for any of the features, date/time/temp/forecast. Removed batteries for 1 hours and re-installed new (different) batteries.. no change. No response from mfr for 72 hours, so I am returning for refund via Amazon since I've only had the unit for a little over one week. I'm not up to dealing with something that has issues like this right out of the box.

Obviously you can look out the window and see whats going on outside. Yet with our new wireless weather station we are able to verify the temperature inside and out. It tells the Humidity and best of all the weather forecast will indicate the trends of the weather approaching.

Information point, does not work with older LaCrosse outdoor units but works with its (included) own. Working with older units is handy if you have already deployed older units and just want to piggy-back another indoor unit on them.

The time & Weather station is very accurate and sleek looking. Would recommend it to a friend.

JanSport Classic SuperBreak Backpack JanSport Classic SuperBreak Backpack

The shipping was on time & the quality of JanSport never seems to fail me! I'm finally ready for school.

I bought this backpack for my daughter for kindergarten. I was concerned it might be too big for her because she is petite and only five. However, the adjustable straps make it fit her perfectly. I really like that the bag itself is very lightweight but can hold lots of stuff. She should be able to use it for many many years to come.

Love the bag!It is everything I hoped for and as advertised. Received it promptly too!

This backpack is cute, but it is not really a good purchase. I have washed it a few times, and now the inside of the fabric has started to peel away. Also, it doesn't hold any shape, so it kind of hangs down instead of staying up on your back. The fabric is thin and the quality is so-so. If I had to do it over again, I would buy something with some shape to it with more padding and machine wash capability. This would be more suitable for a day at the beach than for carrying books.

This was a great purchase! It was as if I had bought it at the store brand new, but for half the price! I recommend it to anyone who wants a new backpack, but doesn't want to pay a lot for it.

Good product but the bottom panel should have been little bit longer. If it is long enough, it will be much easier to load different shapes of stuff.

speaking of the placement of the wheels, which I agree with wholeheartedly, that they're set too far back and so there's no good feel for picking up and lowering the load - rather than being balanced you're putting a lot of effort into picking up and lowering the load smoothly... But even with that caveat, it works very well especially for the price. Great value for such a little truck, and incredibly portable. I purchased this for one end - to move my small wine fridge in my basement. It's full of about 40 bottles of juice and I didn't want to go emptying it out to relocate it. Worked great, collapses very small, extends well, and was surprisingly sturdy, which was my fear, that it would be a little flimsy. But it wasn't.

I like this! Very easy to maneuver and holds some large packages! I got it within a few days of ordering and this one sure is much better than the old luggage cart with stretch straps that would always get dirty because they have to be put down on the ground while getting the items onto the cart before securing. The magna cart is SO much better - total piece of cake - just pull up on the handle and with your foot pull down the platform and it folds up just as easily. It's so slender that the storage of this is really compact too. I'm glad I got this. I have a very bad back and it's made it so much easier hauling things around.

I have extreme back problems. Can't lift anything. This hand cart is perfect for me. I put it on the cart use my bungie cord to secure it and move the item. Only thing they need to include the bungie cords.

...at least, not very much over that height if you're not interested in contorting yourself into at least slightly uncomfortable positions in order to use this dolly. That's exactly my height, and I'm just able to pull this cart without having to slouch slightly; although, it seems that part of the problem is that the cart, whether you're pushing or pulling it, seems to have a tendency to want to upright itself. Beyond that, it's a perfectly serviceable cart if you don't demand too much of it. Just today, I used it to cart a 55 pound air conditioner from the pick-up point 8 blocks away, and then up 3 flights of stairs, and it came through just fine. So yeah, be on the short side, and don't be afraid to bully it slightly to keep it in position. It's not great, but it's good enough.

Average Rating:

Ideal for travelers, trade show exhibitors, and anyone else who frequently schleps boxes and other gear from place to place, the Magna Cart personal hand truck is engineered with toughness in mind. The 7-pound hand truck is made of sturdy rustproof aluminum, with a telescoping handle that extends to 39 inches tall...

Cornell is a great singer but this music sucks...please Chris get back with Soundgarden or Audioslave!

He is going back to Soundgarden. This is a terrible album. The Billy Jean cover...laughable. He modeled, now this...the ultimate sell out notion...hopefully he hasn't ruined his career.

Chris has never & will never return to the Success that he once had with SOUNDGARDEN!!

Chris Cornell has recorded one of the finest collections of songs in his storied career. This CD does not suffer from the sameness of sound Audioslave was sometimes guilty of. Some of Chris' best songs are on this CD. Open your ears & open your mind when you listen to this one. The songs Poison Eye, She'll Never Be Your Man, & Billie Jean are reason enough to buy this. Great production & arrangements on every song. Great Job!!!

I preferred his first solo album but on the other hand how can you surpass something as brilliant as that? I'm just pleased he finally came out with a second album! The bond soundtrack is excellent - firt time a Bond track actually has got it. The rest is Chris Cornell - non commercial, amazing vocal range - another CD that superglues itself to my player.....

Change has been a constant in Chris Cornell's life since Soundgarden split in 1997. Sober and over 40 now, he lives in France with his wife and daughter. His first solo album (1999's Euphoria Morning) was lauded in the press, but disregarded by the public...

Eagle Creek UnderCover™ Security Wallet (Khaki) Eagle Creek UnderCover™ Security Wallet (Khaki)

Just got back from a trip to Italy! This wallet did everything it said it would do and then some. It was great not to have to fumble around going thru customs trying to find my drivers license, passport and boarding pass. This is a must item if your traveling anywhere, because every thing you need is right at your fingertips. Also Amazon was great at getting it to me in a timely manner. Thanks Again!

I purchased this item for a trip I took to London. I wanted something that concealed well but that was comfortable and functional. This met all those requirements. I was able to carry my passport, my credit cards, and some cash. I wore the pouch over one shoulder and under one arm beneath loose fitting clothing. I could lift up one side of my shirt to get at the contents. I felt secure knowing my money a valuables could not be pick-pocketed. Why only four stars then? When I was going through airport security all the contents of the vertical zipper side fell out on the floor. It was embarassing because it was all of my cash and credit cards. I had to put my credit cards in the horizontal slots above my passport and me more careful with my cash. The second thing is that when I got sweaty in the airport the neck string and pouch stuck to my body and couldn't be easily moved. This item is really comfortable though and looks nice and fits well. I recommend it to anyone who wants a somewhat stylish way to travel with necessary valuables in another country.

On a trip to the U.K. I lost my one and only credit card. Not a pretty picture. I knew I had to rearrange how I kept my money, credit cards and travel documents. I checked out quite a few different security wallets and came across this one. It is by far the best. It has compartments for everything from passports, to credit cards to money. There are some that I don't even use. It is comfortable, and since it has no metal, I can wear it right through airport security. And when I get to my destination, I just toss it in the hotel safe, and I know exactly where everything is. How good is that!

After having found a money belt to be impractical (because it is hard to get to!), I purchased this neck wallet. It was very useful. I could wear it outside my shirt when appropriate or tuck it in under my shirt or sweater.

I bought this for a business trip to India and the UK. Excellent product. Worked like a charm, no discomfort, even in a hot climate. Highly recommended, very well made. A brilliant design.

...excellent purchase with high quality. When I traveled to China, Japan and New Zealand 10 years ago, I used this to carry my passport and travelers checks. Now I used it as my wallet.

This is an excellent leg pouch with one exception: the Velcro on the pouch itself is only about 1"x1". It would be much better if it were 3" x 1" for a more secure attachment. It never came off, but I did worry about it from time to time. Other than that, it's nice, thin, light, and made of sturdy rip-stop nylon. My passport and credit cards fit easily. I wore it around my ankle because my calves are big and it would have been too tight further up.

i like this ankle wallets. It helps when you're runnning around in sweat pants, etc...i've always hated keeping things in the two front pockets of sweat pants and this poses a better alternative.

Left Luggage [VHS] Left Luggage [VHS]

This powerfully emotional film from director/co-star Jeroen Krabbé works and sticks with you, despite some fundamental quirks. You've got to swallow the idea that we're set in Antwerp with the Scottish actress Laura Fraser as the lead, all set in English. We just saw I've Loved You So Long [Blu-ray] and the filmmakers there take the pains to write an explanation for Kristin Scott Thomas' English accent (the film's in French) into the script. Here, we get an inexplicable mixture of people and languages in this environment, yet no reason for it. [I'm reminded of Smilla's Sense of Snow, where Julia Ormond is supposed to be Danish...and Robert Loggia as her father, no less.] Again, despite those comments, this is a powerful film not to be missed. It has one particular moment of such overwhelming, perfectly staged, unexpected emotion that I defy any viewer to watch it with a dry eye...just as I defy any viewer not to fall head over heels for Laura Fraser in her portrayal as Chaya. Her beauty and winsomeness - she's approx. age 21 - 22 when this was released in 1998 - will bowl you over.

LEFT LUGGAGE, an English speaking Netherlands film, was a tremendous film festival traveler, and is known worldwide under nine very different titles. The U.S. release refers to the luggage that Chaja's Father had buried in Antwerp,Belgium when the Nazi onslaught hit Belgium. The film then symbolically refers to the baggage that is left in the lives of the people who endured and survived the Holocaust and the legacy that is put upon the next generation.I have seen this script done countless times and far more effectively! 1972 Antwerp has Chaja (Scotland's Laura Fraser-Virtual Sexuality)as the daughter of two non-religious Jewish Holocaust survivors. Her Father cannot let go of the past, and her Mother refuses to acknowledge it.Chaja's Jewish identity has never been of any real significance to her.She takes a job as a nanny in an Chassidic household. This type of Jew is quite different to Chaja. The rules are stricter, but not all that much of the difference is explored. The parents of three boys,The Kalman's (Isabella Rosellini and Jeroen Krabbe, who also directed this film) hire Chaja to help in the household, though Mr.Kalman is initially opposed. The youngest son,Simcha, has remained mute for some reason.Chaja and Simcha form a bond and they both start to blossom as people forged in this new generation. Edwin de Vries,(who also wrote another Krabbe film which is rather directionless-The Discovery of Heaven) wrote the screenplay for LEFT LUGGAGE, and the fact that this film is released under so many different titles to me explains a lot of the disconnect and uncertainty of purpose that I experienced with this film. There are many subplots in this film and the meandering leaves a very unfulfilling sense of where the heart of this film should be;in Sweden the film title is translated "Little Simcha"-so is the film about Simcha? I didn't think so.In Germany the film is audaciously titled "Kalman's Nanny";in Argentina, "For Love" and rather innocuously "Research of the Past" in French Canada! The fact is that LEFT LUGGAGE is a bit of all of these titles, but alas not specifically any one of them.Herein is my rub;for all it's good intentions, this film is neither a great look at Holocaust "baggage" nor a film about love for a child, nor about researching the past. You will learn little bits about lots of things, but not specifically about one. If Chassidism is what you are more curious, I suggest The Chosen. If you are more interested in the Holocaust, there are innumerable films that are far more interesting than LEFT LUGGAGE.The same goes for a girl coming to grips with her heritage from WW2 as in (An American Rhapsody, The Devil's Arithmetic,or Music Box. I would have to echo "Newsday" critic,Gene Seymour's "frequently moving" accenting frequently, but not always.A very cautious 3 stars.

As others have already mentioned, this movie explores the psychological trauma of European Jews in the post Holocaust generation. It also looks at the life of Chaja, a young assimilated Jewish girl, who becomes connected to her people through her connection with a Chassidic family for whom she works as a nanny. Although the film is clearly emotionally moving, particularly at the turning point, it is also intellectually stirring, as viewers are drawn to consider the meaning of virtue, community and survival. It is for that reason that I disagree with reviewers who are opposed to the film because of its nudity. The filmmaker uses the nudity to juxtapose the values and culture of the general Belgian youth of the time to that of the conservative, religious values of the Kalman family. The swimming scene appears immediately after a scene in the Kalman home. It is shocking, both because of the content and because of the use of light (low lighting in the scene in the Kalman home, and a brightly lit day in the succeeding scene). I rented this movie, then bought it, and am considering buying a copy for a friend. I've watched it several times. That's how much I like it.

VERY GOOD MOVIE,IT'S SAD HOW TRADITIONS SEPERATES PEOPLE FROM ONE ANOTHER EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO WAR.

This is a powerful movie. However, I recommend you keep the kids away. It some mature matter that may not be appropriate for the little ones.

Average Rating:

Set in Belgium in the early 70's, Left Luggage is the touching and emotional story of Chaja, a rebellious philosophy student stuggling to come of age. Her relationship with her parents, both concentration camp survivors, is strained and she finds herself unable to accept her Jewish identity...

Master Lock 4683Q TSA-Approved Nickel Keyed Alike Luggage/Baggage Lock, 4-Pack Master Lock 4683Q TSA-Approved Nickel Keyed Alike Luggage/Baggage Lock, 4-Pack

Reviews

I recently travelled out of the country and wanted to leave my suitcases locked in my hotel rooms with valuables. I guess they serve as a visual deterrent only, but for real security they are worthless. I locked the one of the keys in the suitcase at one point and easily popped it open with the back of a spoon. For real security I will look elsewhere next time.

Poorly made little locks, and one of the four did not work. I'd go elsewhere.

These worked great. They were nice and heavier than I thought. I will be ordering these again if I need more or loose the keys.

Revised 04/12/2010 Initial impressions were not good but now that I've traveled with the locks I rate them "okay" with three stars (up from 1). The locks survived a trip to China and back. The locking mechanism(s) are still rough and flimsy feeling but they did not pop open (as expected) with general airport handling. Adequate with a reasonable price point for 4 locks. ================================================================================= Just bought these for a trip overseas and 1 of the four arrived DOA. The first thing I did was to test the locks by pulling on the shackle and the first lock popped right open. I tried to secure the loop giving it the benefit of a doubt but, no, it refused to lock. I then tried to use the key to see if that would set the shackle into the body but the key wouldn't turn at all. The other locks seem to work as expected but I doubt their longevity. At this point I'm going to use them since I leave soon but I don't expect them to survive the trip one-way much less there and back. As far as I'm concerned these aren't much better than a toy padlock one could get from a gumball machine and Master Lock owes me a refund. TSA will have no worries with these locks -- one stink-eyed look and they'll pop right open.

Bought these for a 2/2010 trip to Mazatlan, Mexico. They worked great. On the return at the Mazatlan airport you are required to open ALL bags, even bags to be checked in. Some had trouble opening combanation locks as some felt pressured by airport security to open their locks. Others had several keys for different locks. I just needed my one key to unlock the 3 locks I was using. No pressure! Had no problems with any of the locks but only needed to use 3. Best deal for the price.

Average Rating:
