JanSport Classic SuperBreak BackpackReviewsThis backpack is awesome. Its simple and perfect. I had one all through High School and go this one for college an it will probably last a long time... I'm 17. I've been looking for a backpack b/c my handbag was really starting to hurt my shoulder. This backpack is great!!!!!!! I take it everywhere. It's light and the straps are comfy. It's always on the ground in school and never gets torn. There is alot of space too. I carry a typical 3 in. binder, two folders, 4 journals, 2 english books, a pencil case, 4 oz water bottles, and my handbag! Its very cool. I recently took it on a trip when I was traveling and it fit all my clothes and other necessities. I'm glad I got this backpack. It also arrived 2 days later. BOOST!!! My black JanSport Superbreak Classic Backpack rocks! It is very well made and constructed. The material feels great and sturdy. It holds all of my heavy college books and then some! There is a pocket inside the smaller compartment that is great for holding my wallet when I don' feel like having it in my pocket. The bag is not too big. Its simple and just right, not bulky. The top loop is great for hanging it on the hook that's on the door of the restroom stall when you don't want to place it on the floor. This thing looks great in black. I was afraid that the blue background of the JanSport logo (that is on the black bags) was going to be too bright, but thankfully it is darker than it is in the photo. It is a dark navy color. This bag comes with a lifetime warranty that I doubt I will ever need. I'm sure that this is the last backpack I'll ever need to get! :) I was on a search for a simple backpack that would fit all of my books and binders for an affordable price. Jansport was my answer. This bag is perfect for my needs. The large component is perfect for my binders and textbooks, I can even fit books and drinks in it too. I didn't want a backpack with a lot of designs all over or bright colors as I wanted it to be semi-professional looking. I highly recommend this backpack, especially for those looking for an affordable, simple bag. I got this backpack for my granddaughter for Christmas. She is a backpack collector, but this quickly became her favorite. This is sturdy and put together well. We expect to get a lot of use from it. Very attractive too. We are extremely pleased with this purchase. Average Rating:![]() |

Leather CPR Cleaner & ConditionerReviewsused it on an old leather jacket and gloves that were molded up and they now look and feel great! Worth the price. I had a nice leather jacket given to me as a gift 9 years ago. I neglected to care for this jacket like I should of. Finally after years of neglect, I was looking down at the jacket as I buttoned it up, and realized that it was pretty thrashed and worn. After some searching online, I started looking for leather conditioner. The reviews for this product helped me choose this for the product to try. I spent an hour using it on my leather jacket, and it almost seems like new. It definitely feels like it did when I first got it. The shine is back, the smooth texture is back, and it doesn't seem nearly as worn as it once was. This product was amazing and I highly recommend it for using on leather jackets. Our leather couch, chair and ottoman are several years old and were extremely dry. Admittedly, I should have reconditioned these a little while ago, but life got in the way. I was hoping for at least a subtle change, but I was pleasantly surprised with the results. The cream was easy to apply, didn't drip, didn't need to be buffed afterward like some other products and did wonders to breathe new life back into our tired furniture. Really dry leather (like furniture that should have been reconditioned sooner by its procrastinating owners) may require more than one application. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I didn't get the results I expected after reading some reviews. I used it for cleaning a nude color leather bag. General apearance was improved and the leather feels more conditioned, but no stain was removed. I found this product just as good as any saddle soap that costs much less. I restore fine designer handbags & luggage - vintage and modern. I have used many, many leather products out there over the years, and I will say that Leather CPR is my go-to product...seriously, I panic if the tube is getting close to running out. Its clean, appropriate for all colors, including white (do not put Lexol on light colors!) its non-toxic so you can rub it on with your hands, it conditions wonderfully, without a strange greasy or slick feel. I recently tested products on a black leather jacket with dry, faded arms. Leather CPR won hands-down for restoring the black color and the natural smooth feel. Gliptone is my 2nd favorite leather conditioner, it smells amazing - but I only use Gliptone on darker bags and its more expensive - I wish it were found locally. Lexol has its place, for sure - for darker colors with seriously dried out fibers (old luggage handles for example) but its oily, so you have to be really careful where you put it, and Lexol does darken leather permanently (because its basically oil) and Lexol smells awful!! Overall, Leather CPR is my absolute first choice for the overall versatility, low cost, wonderful results and ease of purchasing! Average Rating:![]() |

Winsome Wood Luggage Rack, EspressoReviewsOne leg is cracked (through a doweled area) probably from no protection other than cardboard shipping box. The finish, while a nice dark color, is uneven due to poor prep of wood. Some areas are shiny, others have a rough texture. I may glue and refinish the crack or just send it back. I am too busy prepping for 35 arriving for Christmas! I have been an Amazon shopper for over 6yrs.; recently placed about 16 orders! This is the first item that was unsatisfactory. Update: This item was returned. I bought a small folding table instead. Very nice luggage rack. Delivery very timely and as expected. Very good price too. Thank you. Winsome 92420 Luggage Rack with Curved Legs, Espresso. I bought two for my guest rooms and they look great and are very functional. Average Rating:![]() |

Left Luggage [VHS]ReviewsThis powerfully emotional film from director/co-star Jeroen Krabbé works and sticks with you, despite some fundamental quirks. You've got to swallow the idea that we're set in Antwerp with the Scottish actress Laura Fraser as the lead, all set in English. We just saw I've Loved You So Long [Blu-ray] and the filmmakers there take the pains to write an explanation for Kristin Scott Thomas' English accent (the film's in French) into the script. Here, we get an inexplicable mixture of people and languages in this environment, yet no reason for it. [I'm reminded of Smilla's Sense of Snow, where Julia Ormond is supposed to be Danish...and Robert Loggia as her father, no less.] Again, despite those comments, this is a powerful film not to be missed. It has one particular moment of such overwhelming, perfectly staged, unexpected emotion that I defy any viewer to watch it with a dry eye...just as I defy any viewer not to fall head over heels for Laura Fraser in her portrayal as Chaya. Her beauty and winsomeness - she's approx. age 21 - 22 when this was released in 1998 - will bowl you over. LEFT LUGGAGE, an English speaking Netherlands film, was a tremendous film festival traveler, and is known worldwide under nine very different titles. The U.S. release refers to the luggage that Chaja's Father had buried in Antwerp,Belgium when the Nazi onslaught hit Belgium. The film then symbolically refers to the baggage that is left in the lives of the people who endured and survived the Holocaust and the legacy that is put upon the next generation.I have seen this script done countless times and far more effectively! 1972 Antwerp has Chaja (Scotland's Laura Fraser-Virtual Sexuality)as the daughter of two non-religious Jewish Holocaust survivors. Her Father cannot let go of the past, and her Mother refuses to acknowledge it.Chaja's Jewish identity has never been of any real significance to her.She takes a job as a nanny in an Chassidic household. This type of Jew is quite different to Chaja. The rules are stricter, but not all that much of the difference is explored. The parents of three boys,The Kalman's (Isabella Rosellini and Jeroen Krabbe, who also directed this film) hire Chaja to help in the household, though Mr.Kalman is initially opposed. The youngest son,Simcha, has remained mute for some reason.Chaja and Simcha form a bond and they both start to blossom as people forged in this new generation. Edwin de Vries,(who also wrote another Krabbe film which is rather directionless-The Discovery of Heaven) wrote the screenplay for LEFT LUGGAGE, and the fact that this film is released under so many different titles to me explains a lot of the disconnect and uncertainty of purpose that I experienced with this film. There are many subplots in this film and the meandering leaves a very unfulfilling sense of where the heart of this film should be;in Sweden the film title is translated "Little Simcha"-so is the film about Simcha? I didn't think so.In Germany the film is audaciously titled "Kalman's Nanny";in Argentina, "For Love" and rather innocuously "Research of the Past" in French Canada! The fact is that LEFT LUGGAGE is a bit of all of these titles, but alas not specifically any one of them.Herein is my rub;for all it's good intentions, this film is neither a great look at Holocaust "baggage" nor a film about love for a child, nor about researching the past. You will learn little bits about lots of things, but not specifically about one. If Chassidism is what you are more curious, I suggest The Chosen. If you are more interested in the Holocaust, there are innumerable films that are far more interesting than LEFT LUGGAGE.The same goes for a girl coming to grips with her heritage from WW2 as in (An American Rhapsody, The Devil's Arithmetic,or Music Box. I would have to echo "Newsday" critic,Gene Seymour's "frequently moving" accenting frequently, but not always.A very cautious 3 stars. As others have already mentioned, this movie explores the psychological trauma of European Jews in the post Holocaust generation. It also looks at the life of Chaja, a young assimilated Jewish girl, who becomes connected to her people through her connection with a Chassidic family for whom she works as a nanny. Although the film is clearly emotionally moving, particularly at the turning point, it is also intellectually stirring, as viewers are drawn to consider the meaning of virtue, community and survival. It is for that reason that I disagree with reviewers who are opposed to the film because of its nudity. The filmmaker uses the nudity to juxtapose the values and culture of the general Belgian youth of the time to that of the conservative, religious values of the Kalman family. The swimming scene appears immediately after a scene in the Kalman home. It is shocking, both because of the content and because of the use of light (low lighting in the scene in the Kalman home, and a brightly lit day in the succeeding scene). I rented this movie, then bought it, and am considering buying a copy for a friend. I've watched it several times. That's how much I like it. VERY GOOD MOVIE,IT'S SAD HOW TRADITIONS SEPERATES PEOPLE FROM ONE ANOTHER EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO WAR. This is a powerful movie. However, I recommend you keep the kids away. It some mature matter that may not be appropriate for the little ones. Average Rating:![]() |

Set in Belgium in the early 70's, Left Luggage is the touching and emotional story of Chaja, a rebellious philosophy student stuggling to come of age. Her relationship with her parents, both concentration camp survivors, is strained and she finds herself unable to accept her Jewish identity... |

Magna Cart Personal Hand TruckReviewssimple: it does the job! strong materials, well made, a quality product at a fair price This is a really great item. It's strong, sturdy and the price was very reasonable. The last hand cart I had wasn't as well made but I had it over 8 years. This one should last even longer. Most of the hand carts are priced between $50 and $300 dollars but I found a real bargain with this cart at $29.00 (approx). Since I live on the third floor (yes there's an elevator), using this cart with hauling out the trash, doing laundry and bringing in grocheries saves my back and my legs. Solid construction, easy-folding and doesn't take up much space. I wasn't sure which cart to purchase because I didn't want to spend much, but I also I did not want to get some cheapo thing that would break the first time I used it. There are more expensive carts in this category, but I'm very, very happy with this one. Great price and good quality. Although I have this mostly for light use, it has carried boxes full of books and magazines (very heavy) and held it's own. I recently attend a trade show, and was shocked to see so many people wheeling "my" Magna Personal Folding Cart around! Bought this when I moved into a 4th floor condo, and I am glad I did. Makes schlepping boxes, furniture, large ceramic pots, bags of mulch, etc. etc. so much easier than doing it by hand. Seems sturdy enough, but I've only had it for a few weeks. So far, a great purchase. This product was delivered fast and is just what I wanted. A good value for the money. Average Rating:![]() |

Master Lock 4688D TSA Accepted Cable Luggage Lock in Assorted Colors, 1-PackReviewsWorks great, very easy to set, stronger than the standard travel lock shackle. One suggestion is to design in an indicator to show if it has been opened, but that is likely in the works. Some others rated this lock for other uses than travel and I feel its intention is for luggage travel security; TSA means it is made for travel, not foot lockers and gym bags. You can order a 1/4" shackle model for larger hasps. I recommend this over any thin shackle type, which break during travel and can be easily cut or twisted open with pliers. This is secure and flexible. Pros - small, easy to use lock to keep honest people honest. Cons - none so far. Other thoughts - Seriously if a thief wants my stuff, this lock will only slow them down. I have an older SporTube for protecting my skis when vacationing, and it originally came with a non-TSA lock with a long shackle. The holes in the Tube, where the shackle of the lock is inserted, are too long for most TSA-accepted locks. The last time I traveled with the Tube, it was opened by a crack TSA person who did not take the time to properly re-lock it, and I found the two pieces of the SporTube at the Denver airport baggage claim with my skis jutting out of the bottom piece (thank God I had warpped them in my ski bibs before inserting them into the Tub). This lock has a flexible shackle that will easily pass through the holes on the tube, and even the stupidest TSA person should be able to figure it out and re-lock my skis. NOTE: SporTube sells their own version of this lock for $19.95 on their website, so this is a REAL bargain! I agree with the other reviews who gave it few stars. It's not sturdy at all. I can't even use mine because it won't close back up now that I've set my own numbers. So I'm going to attempt to return it even though it's out of the package. Complete waste. The link is flexible. I like that so I can use with my camping bag that have two open on one zip when I need to load on the plan. The problem is heavy. My bag is ~10 lbs + 1 lb for the locks, so I can load 35 lbs more in my bag (a lot of space left). Average Rating:![]() |

The 4688D padlock by Master Lock is TSA approved! No need to have unlocked baggage while traveling anymore. The red-and-white TSA logo on the lock notifies screeners that they can unlock and relock your baggage without having to break the lock open... |

Master Lock 4687DNKL Instant Alert TSA Accepted Luggage LockReviewsBought this for our recent Disney Cruise trip. It was so easy to set and easy to unlock. Bought a total of 4, and now I also use this for my gym locker. Great product. Heavy compared to non TSA locks, don't seem particularly strong, but probably as strong as any little travel lock. Certainly stronger than zip ties, which we have been using. We use zip ties along with these locks so we know when the TSA has opened our bags as they have to cut the zip ties. We wouldn't check any bags without either one of these locks or zip ties on every zipper, especially when traveling internationally. I own four of these, in regular use for 2+ years. I also own around a dozen of the non-alert model. If there is any particular advantage to having the popup on here I haven't seen it. If TSA opens my luggage I have always had a card inserted. If one of these is popped up, what would be the next step? Do others inspect this when they pick their bags off the carousel? I don't. I want to get the hell out of the airport. If a TSA person has been in a bag and relocked it, what would be the next step anyway? However, both models cost about the same, both are excellent in reliability, so it's just an extra gimmick to me. I definitely had to follow the instructions to set my own combination. I usually set up electronic equipment and other devices without manuals (just as a frame of reference) It took 3 tries to learn how to set the combination. I wouldn't buy this for grandma for Christmas as it requires too much dexterity both in setting your own combination, and for general use. Once I had it all set up, I did find the red pop up a nice feature because when I picked up my luggage from the airline carousel, all it takes is a glance to see if security went through my bag. If they had, I would generally open at the airport so if anything was missing or broken I could get a claim form and report it right then with luggage in hand. This lock just works. I used it for my trip to and from India this winter and I had no issues with it. I can go a step further and also say that this lock is sturdy given that one of my zipper's rings were broken during the journey, but the lock stayed intact with the other ring. 8 Heads in a Duffel BagReviewsI always wanted to see this movie, and renting it at 99 cents is a great deal. Joe Pesci hauls 8 heads in a duffel bag from NJ to San Diego. The mobster mayhem and mix up starts there, when the bag gets mixed up with a tourist and his family traveling to Mexico via San Diego. This is really a feature for Joe Pesci humor, style and slapstick. Really funny. A special treat for guys who are tough guy fans. A little heavy with the F-bombs in this, so take that into consideration, but overall this is a comedy treat. I'm typically biased when reviewing products like this one. I always love movies from my childhood or from my highschool years no matter how cheesey or lame. This one however has some clever comedy, and alot of one-liners that are pretty hilarious. Joe Pesci takes a different role being a member of a crime organization, and delivering a duffel bag full of heads to a crime boss. Bags get mixed up on the flight to their destination, and all heck breaks loose as the original bag is tracked down by Joe Pesci's character. David Spade plays a very comical role in this film, as well as Kristy Swanson and a few less known actors. The movie keeps you in tune and always wondering if they'll get caught, or even live after crossing paths with this evil mob who own the heads. Alltogether, the movie is very funny, and sure to be a great add to your movie collection. I love this movie, if you're not sure about buying the movie, I would suggest renting it first or reading a few more reviews. Joe Pesci is a courier carrying 8 heads of crooks to prove that they were dispatched. The Duffel bag that he is carrying is inadvertently exchanged with a bag belonging to a collage student on that is on the way to Mexico. Both parties recognize the mistake, which has hilarious reactionary circumstances. Some people are good at words. Other people are good at facial expressions. But Dyan Cannon takes the cake when it comes to being hysterical (in more ways than one.) The first time I saw her, this was way, was in "Heaven Can Wait" (1978), where she saw a mouse and relives it. Now she is a recovering alcoholic and tries to convince her husband that see saw a head in a duff bag. George Hamilton gets to play cool and conservative like the part he played in Doc Hollywood (1991). However one of the highlights of the movie is when he is confronted by the Mexican authorities. Have you seen those Garfield cats that stick in car windows? There are also lessons on recycling and laundering. You need to head out and buy this film. After all 8 heads are better than... Dogma [Blu-ray] the product was as stated in like new condition. I will use this service again. This is one I can watch over and over, you cannot help but laugh out loud! Average Rating:![]() |
