Bought this coffeemaker about two weeks ago for my office and am really enjoying it. Pros: AFFORDABLE, small size, can use almost any regular size mug or disposable cup, uses pods or loose coffee, has permanent filter, brews pretty fast and coffee is hot, automatically turns off. Cons: a little too noisy for the office but it's not on very long, can't find any pods except for Senseo and Folgers in the grocery store - everything else is cups or disks so I'll have to order some online ([...] is an awesome website for pod and other info btw), the included mug isn't all that great - the plastic is rough in some places and the handle and lid are flimsy/cheap - but I use my own mug anyway so not really an issue. Just a note, the cord is VERY short...only about 23 inches so if you have it on your desk, you'll need an extension cord. Overall I'm very happy with it. Loving my one cup of afternoon coffee!

Good item. I've used mine several times and it works just super. I use it for coffee and tea. I put a tea bag on bottom of cup and let hot water run over it. When water is all, tea is done. Good quality.

This is my first Amazon product review, and I am an avid Amazon buyer. I am taking this time because this is my third Black and Decker single cup coffee brewer, and I wanted to acknowledge the enhancements. The previous was okay but had issues. Overall I liked it and used it alot, and took a chance buying the new one, hoping they had addressed some of the issues. To the manufacturer's credit, they have. I've always liked the reusable filter, the ease of use, and the integrated 'to go' cup. But the previous model tended to splash coffee grounds around the filter and upper mechanical assembly indiscriminately, due to the hot drip water causing splashing of the grounds. Messy and hard to easily clean. The new model addresses this issue with an integrated, internal hinged top that easily drops over and seals the ground coffee/drip chamber. No more mess, and also a more consistent, better cup of coffee. I rate it a 4 because 'nothing is perfect' and also because coffee does tend to drip for 30-60 seconds after brewing is 'complete,' which I address by either waiting, or by sticking a cup under to catch the last drops for a minute or two.

It is small & compact. Only thing we wish it had a way to snap the cup into place instead of just sitting on the bottom plate. Now we can have fresh coffee anytime while we are driving out west. :)

My husband TOTALLY loves this for his office. For two years now, he has occasionally said, "Have I told you how much I love my coffeemaker?" Buy it as a gift and be a hero.

I just wanted to let people know how awsome these products are. I bought my dad a thermos trvel mug. He was on his way to work on his motorcycle, and it fell out of his cup holder and hit the Hyw at 70 MPH. He could not go back for it so he proceeded to go to work as planned, never thinking it would have survived. Two days later my mother and he were on their way to greensboro about 30 minutes away from our home. My dad told my mother to be on the look out for the mug not really believeing that it could be found. Low and behold there it sat,laying in the median still intact with only minor surface damages, and coffee still was hot to the touch. My parents told me they would never use any other travel mug ever again but thermos. Thank you so much for a cost effective and very well made tavel mug and thermas. True story, this mug is one of a kind and worht every penny, and still is in use today.

I have had many travel mugs, every brand you can name. After reading the reviews, I decided on the Thermos Stainless King 16 Oz. I bought 2, one for my wife. What a great decision. This is definitely the best ever travel mug. I use it exclusively just for coffee but I'm sure it would perform equally as well with cold drinks. Coffee will stay hot for at least 5 hours. I highly recommend this product.

I travel for work, driving about 80% of the time, and I have gone through so many bad travel mugs - leaky, awkward, too big, too small, and definitely substandard in the thermal department. I had to wait a LONG time for this mug as it was on back order, and when I finally received and used it for the first time...cue heavenly music and lighting...it was AWESOME. I put 190 degree coffee in this mug at 5 AM as I head out the door and it is still piping hot when I get to my destination three or four hours later. A few days ago, I put iced coffee in the mug, headed out at 6:30 AM, and when I went to empty the mug at 7 PM that evening, there was still ice in it! And it was over 90 degrees that afternoon. I don't know how Thermos did it, but I love that they did. The size and shape are perfect for my car cup holder, there are NO leaks when the top is on Close, even when I tip it sideways getting bags out of the car. Best of all, the mug holds enough that even I, coffee cat that I am, don't run out before I get where I am going. I actually threw out several older mugs because I know I will never use them again now that I have my Blue Buddy.

Keeps my coffee hot for hours. Just when I think its gonna be cold i take a sip and its still hot. Defiantly worth the money.

I bought this travel mug because I was looking for a product that would never spill, kept coffee hot and was BPA free. This meets all of those requirement and has been great so far. It cleans easily without residual coffee flavor. It is a bit heavy, though. Love the cup, well-insulated. It's easy enough to clean but can be slightly difficult in the screw-top cap. A small brush should do the trick. My other concern is you really need to scrub the outer edges if you are wearing lipstick, as that can leave a permanent stain because of the grainy texture of the cup. Otherwise, I really can't complain, and it's environmentally sound.

I am always looking for coffee cups that are dishwasher safe and had only seen this style of cup in porcelain. I love the coffee shop look and it keeps my coffee hot long enough for me to drink it. It would be nice if the lid closed so that I was less likely to spill it while driving but am glad that the lid screws on!

I got one of these for my birthday this year and have used it nearly every day since then (April). Never had a problem with a leak from anywhere on the cup. Very comfortable to hold, easy to wash. I only hand-wash and air dry it; too many of my other travel mugs were ruined by putting them in the dishwasher even if they say it's safe. Looking forward to buying more of these!

I have an "I'm not a paper cup" which is a ceramic travel mug that looks like a paper cup. I found this one on sale at Kohl's and thought I'd give it a try. I LOVE that it holds 16 oz (where the other only holds 10) and I like the look of it better. I bought another Copco cup in pink! Very satisfied. I have had the issue where the lid comes off, but only because I neglected to screw it on completely in the first place. No leaks, either. All in all, a great cup for significantly cheaper than the I'm not a Paper Cup.

I love this cup. After trying many different travel mugs, this is the best. It fits easily into my cup holders and keeps things hot until the coffee is gone. I'm seriously considering buying another. Love it!

this tiny flask is small enough to fit in my "going out" purse, or in a guy's back pocket. And it holds more booze than you expect! I would recommend purchasing a funnel, however, since the opening is tiny. For the price, this is awesome!

I actually bought this as a joke for my boss. We work for a Postal Contract Station and after a particularly rough day during the Christmas Season I made the joke that while I don't drink, this job was one that could push me over the edge. I could see myself ducking behind the counter for a quick nip after waiting on a difficult customer. I believe he uses it when he goes hiking, for Mountain Dew, of course.

microwave Col. Conk Bay Rum Glycerine Shave Soap for about 30 - 45 seconds and it fills up the bowl. i use this shaving bowl for travel and in the gym's locker room. would be more glad if this came with a scew lid. but the top seems tight and stays in place. I am happy with my purchase

Having cats that like to knock things down, well this is perfect. I find it's good for keeping the lather warm, sitting it in a sink of hot water. The lid is handy if you just want to build lather in it after loading your brush with a little soap. Course if you want save a few bucks, just use a soup or coffee cup, works just as well.

Nice chrome finish, well made. Keeps the soap contained and clean. Handsome addition to a bathroom. Comfortable to hold while lathering up. Haven't used it for travel yet, although I bought it primarily for home use.

Absolutely worth the price! Good looking, simple, fairly large so it can accommodate pretty much all brands of shave soap. But the best part is that 4 months later it still looks brand new and shiny! And admittedly I don't really take care of it much, and it sits in fairly wet environment near the basin. Definitely a good buy!

Exactly as promised. Well designed, well executed. Perfect solution - holds the soap but doesn't break if dropped. I don't use it for travel, but it looks like it would work well for that.

Got this for my wife for Christmas.... she said it doesn't keep the coffee very hot.... kind of "warm" maybe. She said she loves all the warnings about "Danger" can get VERY hot... be careful! Ummm guess no need to worry about that.. it barely keeps the coffee warm, let alone hot. I read a lot of reviews about the others, and none of them got very good reviews... thought this one wasn't too bad... well... my bad! Guess they haven't really figured out this deal yet. Nice idea, guess none of the manufacturers have really figured it out yet, just another gimmick.

When it worked it kept drinks nice and hot. It was great. However, the car adapter didn't last very long, less than 10 uses. Now it's just a regular travel mug. As a stand alone mug it's still pretty good. Retains heat well.

One hundred ninety-five degrees hot is almost too hot. I have to plug it in to get the drink (normally coffee) hot and then unplug it until it is cooler. However, it does what it said it would so I can not complain.

Amidst the great coffee revolution tea drinkers are often left out as if we do not count at all. That's probably fair given how much coffee can cost versus tea at most coffee houses. But it is still nice that tea drinkers have companies like Mighty Leaf on our side! One great shortfall of many travel mugs is that they simply don't account for someone who has a t-bag AND actually wants to travel with their travel mug (i.e if you only use it to walk from the teapot to your desk, anything will do). What that means is the tea either over steeps because you can't fiddle with the lid while driving (and then what do you do with the tea bag?), or you have to stop to take care of it. This mug solves that problem by allowing you to thread the tea bag through a slit in the lid and then simply pull the tea bag out of the water when the time to steep is done. The bag now is in the lid and no longer touching the water. It is very simple and it works really well. When you get a chance, toss the bag. The only thing you have to learn is how much water you can put in so that the tea bag when pulled no longer touches the water. A small issue at best. I was very impressed with how long the tea stayed hot and yet the outside never got too hot to handle. This also is a big plus since many mugs are great but get super heated over time. This gets warm but not too hot. Tea drinkers! Try this product!

I don't drink coffee, only tea. I have been looking for a tea mug that allows me to close the lid without dropping the whole bag plus string etc into the cup, and that makes it easy for me to remember to take the bag out once I am done steeping. This mug is great, I drink Mighty Leaf Tea which is whole leaf so it soaks up water as it steeps. With this mug, you just pull the tea and tab that is attached to the bag, and the top squeezes the team out and pulls it up and out the way so you don't over steep, and/or waste tea. Very cool.

I was excited about the tea bag infuser design. Yet what I received appeared to be a cheap, lightweight mug. The words Mighty Leaf are engraved on the lid right where a person drinks from it - I can forsee bacteria breeding in those letters. On the positive side, the tea bag infuser design is nice and the lid fits and seals well.

My son, a very wise young man, turned me on to French press coffee. After my glass pot chipped, I found the Frieling on line. I sent him one for Christmas. He says he immediately tossed the two others he already had. It's the best. No worries about broken glass and it keeps the coffee hot for the second cup. Very good choice. I bet it will last for a lifetime of great coffee.

We love our Frieling stainless steel French press. It keeps the coffee hotter and has a quality look. The heated travel mug was a great bonus too.

Nicely constructed material wise, but I think it's a terrible design. First and foremost, there's a bulge in the inside of the thermos that coffee flows into before it gets to your mouth. As you try to drink the last of your beverage, you almost have to tip the mug completely upside down which usually results in some running down your neck. (the bulge holds quite a bit of coffee) The truth is, that it's almost impossible to drink every bit of your beverage. Secondly, the 360deg lid turns counter clockwise from closed to open to completely releasing the lid. It's very easy to accidentally turn the lid too far and completely release the lid which could be a potential catastrophe. Overall construction is good and it keeps my coffee hot long enough for me, about 30-45 minutes. I'm sure the specifications are based on NOT opening the mug to drink from it.

Kept any liquid put in it hot - but it leaked on top, doesn't really hold a lot and it's cumbersome when trying to open and close. Used three four times and then gave it to me son to use at home.

Well insulated, it keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for a long time. The twist close lid design keeps drinks from spilling, and it holds up well in the dishwasher. Being able to drink from any part of the mug is very convient while driving, although the liquid does come out a little slower than I'd prefer.

Two factors make this product not as good as advertised. First, it does not hold the heat. I put hot or even boiling water into it prior to use, up to as much as 45 minutes before use, then fill with the very hot beverage. A very short time later (less than a half hour) when I drink it, it's far cooler than it should be. Second, it has a lip inside the cup that makes it hard to empty its contents completely. And it was reviewed so well! I didn't return it because of the trouble involved. Choose a different product.

After researching countless reviews for a spill-proof mug to take to work, I purchased this one. Spills would be catastrophic for me, and when I accidentally knocked this one over, some liquid did escape but considering it was in the open position, it wasn't the flood I'd feared. The mug does a decent job insulating my tea; I prep it for 5-10 minutes with hot water in the morning, but if I clock in at 8 by 10.30 it's warm, by 11.30 it's tepid. I do like the fact that it's stainless inside, and that it's so easy to clean. Although it had a very strong odor when I opened the package, that dissipated quickly and I never taste anything but the tea I put in it. I also like that the 360 degrees of drinkability mean that no matter how I grab it, I can get a quick sip of tea without having to find the one place to drink. All in all, a decent travel mug, but I'd expected more in the way of insulation. Not a bad investment; have used it daily for several weeks, will continue to use.

Couldn't be a better coffee mug. You can take cold to hot. It shuts off when hot. The firet time it did it I thought something went wrong. The red light goes out, you don't know if you lost power. At this point, the coffee is almost too hot to drink. It would be nice to have a power light, but it is still excellent.

This mug really heats up your beverage from cold to hot,but the downfall of this product is that when the fuse blows,there is no replacement.Sure a 3 amp,250v buss fuse is what it takes,but our fuses are too long & too big in diameter from the one that came with the mugs.I can`t find a fuse nowhere to fit.

I received two of these for gifts. The color is nice but that is about it. They are not spill proof, the tab on top to open and close where to drink doesn't stay so it leaks when you're driving/walking and when you try to drink it closes. They are hand wash only by instruction, I used in the dishwasher because i don't like to hand wash and the only thing that happended was the felt on the bottom came off.

After approximately 2 weeks of usage, I can now see condensation inside the outer plastic wall (vacuum)... so the seal is broken and my coffee will no longer be warm. It was probably because I put this in the dishwasher and like another reviewer, Heather, mentioned here earlier... these not being dishwasher-safe was not mentioned anywhere on the product (or at least I couldn't find it). Also, these are so narrow that washing the inside with your hands is impossible unless you are Pinocchio. They look great though. I'd not recommend but if you still purchase this... do not put them in dishwasher and get a narrow scrubber/brush to wash it.

Not only do I love the (hot purple) color and the slim shape, it also makes me feel good that this coffee travel mug has a steel liner. This was actually less expensive than many of the steel liner mugs I found in my local stores. With such a variety of colors I would highly recommend this product. *You may want to note before you buy this, however, that the product description states that it is not dishwasher safe and should be washed by hand only.

I love these coffee mugs - I originally bought a couple for my husband, but I soon found myself using them everyday, so I had to buy more. :) I have had no problems with them; they have held up for several months now and I am very happy with them - I would definitely recommend these mugs.

These coffee mugs are cheap and virtually unusable. First, they are hand-wash only, which is NOT indicated on any of the packaging. I found out they were hand-wash after mistakenly putting one in the dishwasher; it fell apart after one washing. I called Simple Luxuries, the third party company who sells these through Amazon, and they told me the mugs were hand-wash. They are so narrow inside, you cannot fit your hand or a sponge inside to wash them, so it's impossible to "hand wash" them. They also come with a huge sticker on the outside of the mug. The sticker is impossible to remove, even with soaking in hot water. The sticker leaves a nasty, sticky residue on the outside of the mug which I haven't been able to remove despite repeated, vigorous scrubbing.

The outside was a beautiful, shiny deep purple. Everything was great until I started drinking my searing hot coffee and it started to leak all over my desk!! I would have expected that from a cheap, poorly made $5 coffee mug. I was really disappointed, I won't buy this again.

This is a great cup. Convenient, fits in cup holder in my car. I grab it and go to work or anywhere. I love it and bought it for a friend for Christmas.

Received promptly at a fair price. Brand new and it works like the old Aladdin Mugs.

My wife and I love these mugs, and have been using them for years. As they age, the lid seal might start to leak a bit, but 5 years out of a $10 mug is a good deal. And they are fine in the top rack of the dishwasher. Prior to Amazon, we had to do quite the search to find these; I think the last purchase was from eBay. Maybe they are unsuitable for Colorado, as one reviewer suggested, but we find them to be of perfect size (20 oz) and thermal capabilities for northern California. In fact, I'm sipping my latte from one as I type. To conclude, we love these mugs.

About ten years ago I purchased one these mugs at Publix in Florida and tried to find another one but no one carried them. I enjoy a large cup of coffee in the morning and it stays very hot for about an hour as I read the paper. Now I'm all set with the two I have.

I purchased these mugs thinking they were Aladdin mugs.These are mugs made by Thermo-Serv.They seem to be quality mugs but dont be fooled by the description,Aladdin Style mugs.They are not Aladdin mugs.

I would love to be able to post a review for these mugs however, they never arrived.... The company was very prompt in responding to my queries, and applying a credit, but I was still unhappy with the shipping method and the entire procedure.

They don't leak but the lid is not really secure, it doesn't snap on like I feel it should to give a confident seal.Consequently the lid comes off very easy.

I've always used the Aladdin mugs, and if not Aladdin, then I've used the Thermos mugs. I ordered these and the lids are not the same. No pivoting lid to close it. In addition, these do not keep the drinks insulated anywhere near as long as other Aladdin and thermos mugs that I have had. I'm not sure if it's a defect or why it is.

I have been looking for insulated mugs for about a year and a half!! My husband and I would look at any store that we happened to be in that day, EVERYTHING we saw was either too small, not really insulated, would break instantly, (I know, I, myself broke two right in a row, and then dropped at least two trying to unlock the door to my house, with my arms full of stuff...and dropped them from my arm to our porch) NO MORE INSULATED MUGS LEFT IN OUR HOUSE!! I think I have broke the most! So imagine how elated I was when I found these mugs! Not to mention two of them for a great price, they keep my ice water cold all night (I drink mostly ice water, a lot of it!) and the contents stay cold! I haven't tried it with hot drinks yet, but I'm sure it would do the same. I take Ice-water EVERYWHERE I go!! So I was becoming a little desperate. The only thing that I miss, is a rotating lid to keep it closed. and it doesn't fit my cup holder in my GEO METRO, but there are just SOME things you have to make sacrifices for, EH?!? I am so happy with my purchase, I am definitely a "Return Customer" to AMAZON.COM! Everything I have ordered has been in the BEST condition, even used items! These cups have an open port for drinking. The originals had a pivoting cover to keep out debris. This is not evident in the description. Unfortunately, at a high cost, (mostly due to shipping cost), I am not very happy as these won't work for my desired application. The return shipping cost made it not worth returning, so, I will store them away until I can find a use for them.

Well like other folks have said here,no longer available in your local Walmart. I have had two of these mugs before and have had one since 1994 finally had a filthy crack in the bottom of it that collected debris an icky stuff, had to go. My many Thanks to Gama Electronics for making this available arrived three or four days before I thought it would. Is it me or is Amazon just plainly so much easier to do bussiness than the Big E?

This mug replaces an original Aladdin mug I lost that was just like it. I am very pleased with the new mug, which even has the Aladdin name on it. The seller said they found the original molds, and I believe it. No cheap imitation here! The mug keeps coffee warm for hours, and no dribbling or leaking. The mug is large enough to hold a goodly amount of coffee. The lid snaps on securely but not too snug. It feels much the same as the mug it replaced, and I had that one for about 10 years without any problems with the lid or the tab that is used to pop the lid off. The large circumference means that it will not fit in all auto cupholders, but it is perfect for my 2002 PT Cruiser's center console holder. It also fits in my wife's 2005 Honda Civic twin cupholder, but only if the handle is placed pointing inward (toward the second cupholder side), so the second cupholder becomes unavailable for a passenger.

Just what I was looking for. They used to be available everywhere, from little corner groceries to gas stations. Now they are hard to find. Keeps my ice water very cold for a very long time. My concern is that the lid is quite hard to remove and the tab is really taking a beating every time I push or pull the lid off. I hope it lasts. Love it for now, though. A very pretty bright blue color, too.

I really want to love everything about these bottles - the idea is great and I'm all about using my own reusable bottle for walks, etc. I understand why they need to be squeezed & I really like that they don't spill easily. I just have a problem with the fact that it needs to be squeezed so hard. Seems silly, but when you're walking briskly while pushing a stroller and only have one hand free (not always your strongest hand), it got a little tough to take a good swig once the bottle was more than halfway full. Perhaps it'll get easier, the longer I use it. I do like it & I'll continue to use it, though.

I don't enjoy the chlorine after taste of tap water. I only drink water so when I go to visit with friends I can just take a 16.9 oz bottle along fill up at the tap and have a tasty bottle of water without the yucky twang tap water usually gives you.
